Sorry for the frant earlier today..i must say i was goin through some things!lmao

i decided to pray about, i prayed for patience in my life;and to be able to sit back and wait for my blessings. As you all kno,im waiting on two jobs to come through for me

job #1: at a local staffing company

i would helping individuals find jobs & help companies fill positions

job#2: this job is out of state in the houston area

i would be working at a shelter;case managing with parent and child on a one on one basis

i just recently graduated college in december and i am just soo ready to start my life..

the second job is the one i really want because..

1. it gives me the opportunity to relocate
2. its for a non-profit org
3. its helping others
4. i never wanted to work for a company to increase their profits;but to service others anf help them become better people

On another note i made a promise to God to appreciate what i already have! Most often when youre looking forward to the future you forget what you already have. I promised to take better care of what i have in order to recieve the things i want. For example, my car is soo dirty right now. How will God be able to bless with a new one, when i dont appreciate the one i have now. Just something to think about.

Question: Do you sometimes overlook the blessings you have because you're too busy looking for the ones you want?

i decided to take a break from the weight loss stuff and discuss my life..How could you be a newly college graduate,with a job(not in your career but it is a job) and feel like you're doing absolutely nothing with your life. My life is in a rut and has been for a while. Ive been waiting so long to actually be where i wanna be in my life and it seems as the day will never come. Personally, i dont know how people cannot do something?Im talking about people who are unemployed(as their choice) or not in school(their choice again) and who has no desire to futher their education. How could you not do something!? I feel like i lead a typical life where girl goes to college,girl graduates, finds a job.I guess what i really wanna talk about is the in between time from graduating college and finding your career. This is the time they seem to forget to educate you on in college. A COLLEGE DEGREE DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A JOB! i just wanted to be honest and i wish someone would have given me that bit of knowlege. Dont get me wrong, I am verify happy to recived my degree but this search to find a career is very long and hard. Im soo anxious to start my life that this time seems to be dragging...
My life goal as of today is to find a career that i love to do, socialize more,try new thing,meet tons of people during the process and to simply enjoy life!

Update

So as you heard in the video my goal was to loose one pound by the end of the week...

At the beginning of my weight loss journey the scale was at about one pound over 190

and now its a two pounds under 190 and im super excited!

even though i decided to make friday a cheat day i still managed to loose weight.

My number one goal of this journey is to be able to continue my new eating habits after i reach my goal. I kno that it will be a life long challenge that i will have to continue forever. Also, for a update on my five pound project i am one pound away from my goal. The other day i decided to take a trip to target and ran across a white romper i had had my eye on for weeks. After trying it on and walking toward the register I suddenly remembered my five pound project. I quickly returned the romper to the rack and safely exited the building!lol

So today is already wednesday of my second week of my weightloss journey.
